Payment options

We believe everyone should have access to fresh, healthy, nutritious food, so we work with vendors and social service providers to offer a variety of payment options. See each option below for a brief description.

Coin, currency, dough, moola. No matter what you call it, it is the most versatile payment option and accepted by all of our vendors.

Credit & Debit Cards

Many of our vendors accept major credit cards. This is a fast, convenient and easy option and you can even have a receipt texted or emailed to you!

It's easy to use your Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT/SNAP/Basic Food) card to buy fresh, healthy food at the market. At the market information booth, our staff will swipe your EBT card for the amount requested. You will then be given wooden market tokens to buy anything except cut flowers, alcohol, and ready to eat foods. The tokens never expire and can be used at our market at any time. For information on applying for EBT benefits call 1.877.501.2233 or click here.

POP Club Tokens

P.O.P. Club (Power of Produce Club) token is a currency worth $2 at Bellevue Farmers Market. POP tokens are awarded weekly to kids participating in our POP Club program.

Fresh Bucks

The Fresh Bucks incentive program provides a fresh fruit and vegetable bonus match (for a minimum of $10 of EBT/SNAP benefits redeemed) at the market.

How it works: When you swipe your EBT (SNAP) card at the farmers market information booth, you will be given a match in Fresh Bucks for the EBT amount you redeem.

WIC FMNP checks are specifically for purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables at Farmers Markets. You can use your WIC FMNP checks at the market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables (note that no cash change is given - you have to spend the entire amount of the check).  Look for farm booths with the posted WIC signage (below). For more information about WIC FMNP, please call 1-800-841-1410 or click here
