Liz Paruchuru | Market Engagement MANAGER

Liz believes in the power of farmers markets to create vibrant communities. As an organic farm apprentice years ago, she discovered her passion for speaking about how farms and fresh food access are critical to the health of families and our planet. She joins BFM after most recently working at Hopelink, where she created partnerships with businesses to support families in North and East King County. Liz looks forward to collaborating with vendors, customers, businesses, and the community at large to ensure that BFM remains a thriving space for generations to come. If it’s not farmer markets or social justice she’s chatting with you about, it’s cooking, psychology, motherhood, or how beautiful the moon looks tonight.

Brandy Eckman | Board member and POP ClUB Coordinator

Brandy has been a lifelong patron of farmers markets, starting with the Snohomish Farmers Market as a small child. As an adult, she sought out farmers markets to connect with her community and as a way to find the freshest produce for her canning hobby. Being a strong advocate for education and passionate about food, volunteering for BFM’s Power of Produce (POP) Kids Club felt like a natural fit. As POP Club Coordinator, Brandy strives to create fun, experiential learning for kids around food, farming, and the environment. If she’s not at the market, she loves cooking, knitting, gardening and woodworking.
